With over 20 years of professional training experience, Lucy has a background in foreign languages from Royal Holloway College, University of London. A qualified and experienced intercultural trainer, English teacher, translator and interpreter, Lucy has enjoyed working closely with professionals at management and work force level in industry, public relations, commerce, banking, scientific research, international management and pharmaceuticals. She works in English and in French. Lucy is proud to help clients develop in public speaking, conducting interviews and meetings in an international context, cultural differences and generating creativity. She also conducts workshops and seminars on topics such as managing change and understanding leadership, for government professionals from the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and South America, in her capacity as external speaker for the prestigious French Ecole Nationale d’Administration. Her ability to encourage constructive conversations and connect ideas means that she is regularly asked to chair experience-sharing workshops that help overcome preconceptions and build on shared knowledge. Trained in the French national skills assessment process, Lucy undertook studies in Psychology with the Open University in the United Kingdom to extend her own knowledge and to continue to help professionals re-evaluate their circumstances and seize new opportunities. Her approach is highly intuitive and empathetic. Lucy’s expertise in putting across ideas and ‘making the room work’ draws on a deep knowledge of effective and interactive learning processes and a personal love of storytelling and the performing arts.
