When was the last time you sat in a meeting room observing a presentation and the presenter gave you loads of text on each slide? Your challenge was to decide whether you would listen to the presenter or try to understand the slides; of course, you can read much faster than people normally speak.
Remember this! Slides are free. You can use as many of them as you like. So instead of having 3 bullet points on a slide (each with 2 phrases of text), you can have 6 slides. Or even more. The energy you generate by moving from one slide to the next will catch most people’s attention. And, slides that people read are worth 10 times more than slides that are read to them.
