Failing to plan is a plan to fail

Posted on Posted in Presentations, Public Speaking

In the corporate world, many people admit that they spend one or several hours preparing their PowerPoint slides and little or no time planning how they are going to verbalize and articulate their messages.

This is a big mistake.

To augment your success as a public speaker, you must plan:

1)     The first two words you are going to use, for example, “Good morning”

2)      The first sentence after that

3)      The key message that you have come to deliver and the promise for the audience

4)      The conclusion

Good planning makes good presentations.
