If you use a PowerPoint during a presentation, always make sure to follow these two rules:
Don’t overload your slides.
Don’t use any font size smaller than 24 point. Always make sure that it is big enough so that your audience can read it. If you need to fit more words on a slide, it means your message is not synthesized enough.
Don’t ever read your slides.
Your audience should be able to easily scan through your slides. If you put too much text for them to read, you will lose their attention. If you put too much text for you to read, you will bore them. Your slides should help you to illustrate your point, they should never be the point.
